Sometimes all you need is a catalyst

Sometimes all you need is a catalyst

Nothing makes me happier than helping people resolve a conflict that has been weighing on them.  When I see the relief on their faces, I know I’ve done my job.

Nothing makes me happier than helping people resolve a conflict that has been weighing on them.  When I see the relief on their faces, I know I’ve done my job.

What I do:

For the last 20 years I've taught negotiation at Harvard and Columbia law schools, using the method developed at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.

I use the same approach in my consulting practice, where I've helped CEOs, senior executives, and professionals navigate sensitive business and family disputes.

I'm also a seasoned negotiation trainer for groups.  I’ve worked with organizations all over the world, including Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, the Brunswick Group, Naspers, Cleary Gottlieb, FINRA, the Clinton Foundation, Columbia University, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Montefiore Medical Center, and the New York City Council.

I’ve edited four books, two of them on negotiation, and I'm a frequent speaker on negotiation-related topics.

These days my consulting practice focuses on adult family conflict.  My clients tend to be highly motivated people who aren’t looking for a quick fix.  They share a willingness to hang in there and seek a lasting solution.

I love this work because it makes such a big impact in my clients' well-being.

That's what I want for you: progress in meeting your life goals, and freedom from a conflict that may be sitting like a dead weight on your soul.

“Every time my sister and I talked about our elderly mother and her failing health, we both ended up frustrated and upset. In just a few sessions, Kathy helped me change the dynamic completely.  My sister and I don’t fight anymore!  Kathy is a great communicator and problem solver who helped me see the problem clearly.”
